About me

From Farming to Cheffing, I don’t think there has been many days in my adult life where I haven’t felt the solid grip of a knife in my hand.

After leaving catering college in Bath at 18, I spent 5 years cheffing in the french alps, working in restaurants, doing private catering jobs and working on the family farm.

During this time, my brother and I after watching a video on youtube, built a coal forge out of an old 50 gallon oil drum. After giving it a go I was hooked. During my time working as a chef at the restaurant L’enclume in the Lake District I started to do more research and spent more of my free time making knives as well as buying equipment.

We have recently completed the building of a new workshop at our family farm in Wiltshire where I now work full time crafting knives.
